Back 2 School - Kick for Kids

The Modesto Gospel Mission’s annual back-to-school shoe giveaway “Kicks for Kids”!

Each year, in partnership with Big Valley Grace, the Modesto Gospel Mission distributes over 800 pairs of shoes to local youth so that they have fresh kicks to “kick off” the school year.

Our Kicks 4 Kids event is coming up on July 30th, 2023 from 9am-12:30pm. This year we will be handing out shoes, backpacks and lunch on campus to kids in the community.

We are now collecting new closed-toe shoes for this event, which can be dropped off at our donation dock from 6am – 6pm everyday leading up to the event.

Note: This service is intended for those that could not afford a new pair of shoes otherwise, and are struggling financially. If this is not applicable to you, please allow our supply of shoes to be directed to those in need.
